Refund Policy

Consumer Assessments (Individual Purchasers)

We want you to be confident in your purchase. The following refund terms apply to individual consumers who purchase a Real World Careers assessment directly through our website:

• Full refund within 7 days: If you have not yet started your assessment, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date.
• No refund after assessment is started: Once you open and begin your assessment, the assessment is considered delivered and the purchase is non-refundable. This applies regardless of whether the assessment has been completed.
• Retests and upgrades: Real World IQ Upgrade purchases and Retest purchases are non-refundable once the associated session has been verified and opened.

Employer Seat Packages

Employer seat packages (Pilot and multi-seat packages purchased through the employer portal) are subject to the following:

• Full refund within 30 days: If no candidate seats have been activated on your account, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
• Partial credit after partial use: If some but not all seats have been activated, we will issue a pro-rated credit toward future services for unused seats. Credits do not expire.
• No refund on activated seats: Once a candidate seat has been activated and a candidate has begun an assessment, that seat is non-refundable.

Federal and Government Purchases

Federal agency purchases made through a government purchase order (GPO) or government credit card are governed by the terms of the relevant purchase order or federal acquisition regulations applicable to the transaction. Contact us to discuss specific terms for your agency procurement.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our support team by email. Please include:

• The email address used at checkout
• Your order number or Stripe payment reference (found in your receipt email)
• A brief description of your request

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
