Where you fit on a career path

This book is for the person who took the fifty timed work items. It answers one question: where does this way of solving work belong. It is not a job offer. It is not a personality type. It is not an IQ test. Ceiling 110.

Primary path: operations, program coordination, training, and client-success desks — work that collides deadlines, people, and a procedure. Do not lead with a junior modeling or bookkeeping seat.

A path, not a lottery of job titles

Most “career tests” dump six job names and leave. This book ranks occupational families first — the kind of work — then names example roles inside those families. If the family is right, many titles in it will feel usable. If the family is wrong, a pretty title will still drain you.

The six domains are how you solved fifty work problems under time: executive reasoning, quantitative & spatial, verbal & working memory, visual pattern, workplace judgment, procedural sequencing. High bars are what to put in front of the job. Lower bars are not a character judgment. They tell you where the work will feel heavy.

Use this week: read the path, copy the application language, run the 30-day list, open ZIP jobs from the same credential. Share a verify code only when you choose. The hiring company gets a different book from the same scores — only if you opt in.

What to put in front of the job

Decisions under constraint

Executive reasoning is the peak (8 of 9). You protect the due date and the reliability rule, then recover the rest. That is operations, program, and project-coordination work.

People-and-work problems

Workplace judgment is 7 of 8. Service recovery, peer conflict, owning a miss. Put humans on the desk. This is not a “nice personality” label. It is how you choose among options when people are in the work.

Holding the rule

Verbal memory and procedural sequencing are both 7 of 8. Policy, tickets, SOPs, checklists, finish criteria. Caseload desks and implementation work sit here.

One-sentence pattern

People, process, and decisions under constraint — not a modeling seat first. Lead applications with that sentence. Do not lead with “I like data.”

Page 5 of 12 · Drains

Where the work will feel heavy

Lower bars are usable. They are not a disqualifier. They tell you which seats will cost extra effort every day.

Quantitative & spatial (7 of 9, 78%). Everyday workplace numbers are intact. Two misses: spatial tracking and a stacked word problem. A junior data-analyst or bookkeeping lead will grind. Pair with a numbers lead if the role is 1500-series heavy. Do not pretend the bar is the peak.

Visual pattern (6 of 8, 75%). Document and production patterns are usable. Abstract transform puzzles are weaker. QA / inspection is a moderate, not a lead.

If a posting is 80% spreadsheets, models, or cyber-alert pattern hunting, it is the wrong family for this profile even if the title sounds senior. The family is the path. The title is decoration.

What you can paste this week

Use this on an application, LinkedIn About, or a TAP worksheet. It is how you solve work. It is not a claim that someone will hire you.

I solve work under constraint. I protect the due date and the reliability rule, then recover the rest. I am strongest when the desk has people in it and a procedure to finish — operations, program coordination, training, and client success. I am not first-choice for a junior modeling or bookkeeping seat. I have a six-domain Real World Careers Career Fit profile (Report ID on request) from fifty timed work items. Ceiling 110. Decision support, not an IQ score.

Shorter line for a résumé skills block:

Work sample: planning under colliding deadlines · workplace judgment · SOP / caseload fidelity. Real World Careers Career Fit, 86 / 110.

Share the verify code only when you choose. The hiring company can open the sister book by Report ID. They never get a name from our file.

What to do with this, this month

The report is not the product. Using it this week is.

Page 10 of 12 · How to talk about it

In an interview, without theater

When they ask “tell me about yourself,” lead with the path: I do well on desks that mix people, a procedure, and a due date. Then give one week when two deadlines collided. That is executive reasoning plus judgment. Do not recite six percentages.

When they ask about numbers, tell the truth: everyday workplace math is intact; you are not pitching a junior analyst seat. That honesty is the fit signal.

When they ask to see a test, you may share the Report ID. They open the hiring-company book. You do not hand them a medical file, an IQ label, or a promise.
