Where this profile fits work you fill

This book is for the hiring company. Same fifty items and six domains as the seeker career-path book. Different job: what work this profile can carry, and where it will stall. ID-only. No name on this file. Not a hire stamp. Human review required.

Carry: operations, program coordination, training, client success, SOP caseload. Stall: junior modeling, bookkeeping-first, cyber-alert pattern hunting. Put this next to the résumé. Do not hire from the composite alone.

Page 2 of 12 · How to use this next to a résumé

The résumé is claims. This is a work sample.

Read the résumé for history. Read this book for how the person solves work under time. If the résumé says “analyst” and this profile peaks on judgment and sequencing, the title is a wish. If the résumé says “coordinator” and the bars agree, you have a fit to discuss.

Use order: (1) six bars, (2) carry vs stall, (3) family table, (4) structured probes on page 9, (5) your job analysis. Structured interviews outperform unstructured ones. Pair the work sample with probes. Do not invent a cutoff from 86 / 110. Any cutoff requires local job analysis.

The seeker owns a sister book that tells them the path in their language. You never need their name on our system. You type an ID you already use.

Page 4 of 12 · Carry

What work this profile can carry

Planning desks. Peak executive reasoning (8 of 9). Colliding deadlines, incomplete information, choose what slips. Operations coordinator, project coordinator, management-analyst support.

People-and-process desks. Workplace judgment 7 of 8 plus sequencing 7 of 8. Service recovery, peer conflict, SOP fidelity, finish criteria. Training specialist, customer success, healthcare admin, caseload.

Implementation / support. Procedural sequencing. IT support, logistics, implementation specialist. Adjacent, not a stretch.

One-sentence placement rule: people, process, and decisions under constraint. If the vacancy is that, this profile can carry it. If the vacancy is a model, it cannot carry it as a lead.

Page 5 of 12 · Stall

Where this profile will stall

Numbers-first seats. Quantitative 7 of 9 (78%). Everyday workplace math is intact. Two misses: spatial tracking and a stacked word problem. Junior data analyst (15-2051) and bookkeeping (43-3031) fit 79 — below the operations cluster at 86. Do not lead here. Pair with a numbers lead only if the role is mixed and you have training.

Abstract pattern / cyber-alert. Visual pattern 6 of 8 (75%). Document inspection is usable. Transform puzzles and alert hunting are not the peak. Entry cybersecurity as a lead will stall.

Coachable, not a wall: one miss on effort-vs-calendar (Q7), one boundary item (Q40), parallel vs serial (Q48). Onboarding items. Not a pattern of seven misses.

If your only open req is one of these, this is the wrong seat for this profile. Keep them in the family on page 6. That is the keep mechanism: demands–abilities fit, not a slogan.

Page 9 of 12 · Interview probes

Second method after the score

Use these as structured probes. Score the answers against the job. Do not hire from the composite.

McDaniel et al. (1994): structured interviews outperform unstructured ones. Use the list. Do not chat.

Page 10 of 12 · Observation

What we have seen after the report is used

Verified employment context. After use of the report: 969 of 1,000 employed at 45 days; 911 of 1,000 employed at nine months. Observational headcount. Not randomized. Not a guarantee that this seat hits those rates. Not federal CPARS. Not UGESP validity by itself.

Person–job fit of the demands–abilities type is associated with less withdrawal in meta-analysis (Kristof-Brown, Zimmerman, & Johnson, 2005). Putting a high-judgment, high-procedure profile into a numbers-first seat is a misfit. Putting them into operations or client success is a fit. That is the placement rule this book is for.
